Gold ring with gem depicting Nemesis
On the gem, standing Nemesis is depicted wearing a diadem and with her hair pulled back into a bun on the nape of her neck. The head is shown in profile facing left, while the body is shown en face. The left arm is bent at the elbow and raised. A clenched hand is visible right above the left shoulder. The right arm is hanging down while the right hand is not visible – it has been damaged through chipping and so it is hard to say whether it had been holding something.
Height 2.20 cm, width 2.40 cm. Bezel: 1.36 × 1.63 cm. Overall thickness with the inlay is over 4.6 mm. – Inlay: 1.36 × 1.10 cm. Hoop: 1.6 mm in section at the bottom; width at the top 4.8 mm; thickness 3.2 mm.
