Summary

The hoard comprised a ceramic vessel containing 1,968 denarii and antoniniani (radiates). 1,862 of these coins were identifiable (219 denarii and 1,643 antoniniani (radiates) and form the basis of a catalogue by Le Gentilhomme (1946). The current hoard catalogue outlined here needs checking against this original publication.
