Summary

The hoard comprised an urn containing 218 (or 318) Roman silver coins, both denarii and antoniniani (radiates). A silver statue depicting a 'wise old man' was also discovered at the same findspot a little later. The hoard was found by a farmer called Filliol while working in his field; silver weight: c.60.4-563.7g.
