Comment

The coins were found during building work in a clay pot together with a piece of leather. They were corroded. The coins were taken home by the finder. The Numismatic cabinet of the National museum in Ljubljana was informed in December that someone was trying to sell ancient coins in a local refinery. The cabinet launched an inquest and 6.5 kg of coins were returned to S. Možek, owner of the land where the coins were found. The cabinet was able to get the find in its entirety after that together with the pot and the piece of leather. It is unknown if all the coins were returned to S. Možek.
