Greyware vessel of local manufacture. Common grey pottery. Vessel with cylindrical neck surmounting a semi-spherical body. Well-known type at HARNES site dated in 2nd-3rd centuries AD. Rounded lip, folded outwards with small apex almost (and sometimes even) touching the cervix. High cylindrical neck slightly convex. Half-spherical body. The junction between these two parts is smooth, marked by a furrow rounded in a slight hollow. Note that this groove shares the vase exactly halfway up. Fairly loose foot with slight base thickening and hollow bottom. 17 smoother grooves on the collar. 1 smoothing groove on the paunch 10 mm from the center furrow. Coarse: hard, smooth, well fired, fine, light grey to blue grey colour. Diameter max.ext.: 117 mm; Dimeter max.int.: 95 mm; Diameter bottom: 45 mm; H: 118 mm
